Wynn opening update checked on 6 November 2026 against its own Q3 2026 results release.

Wynn Resorts now says Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently expected to open in September 2027. For a buyer choosing a handover date on the island, that gives a date to compare with the developer’s promised handover. Neither date is a guarantee.

This note is part of our guide to off-plan on Al Marjan Island.

Where the resort stands

Wynn's own figures set the construction scale. The tower topped out in December 2025 at 283 metres over 70 floors. At that point all 1,530 guest accommodations had reached structural completion, and the project had moved into interior build-out (Wynn Resorts, 15 December 2025).

In its third-quarter 2026 results, Wynn said the resort is currently expected to open in September 2027. CEO Craig Billings pointed to finishing works throughout the property, including the interior fit-out of all guest rooms, "as we move closer to a planned September 2027 opening" (Wynn Resorts Q3 2026 results, via PR Newswire, 6 November 2026, 01:01 Asia/Dubai). In the quarter Wynn contributed $62.2 million of cash to the 40%-owned joint venture (life-to-date $1.12 billion).
