Privacy policy

RAK Radar, published by Vaars Studio, collects the minimum needed to run a subscription report service. This page describes what's collected and why.

What we collect

• Email address. Required to sign in, deliver reports, and send the free July report. Sign-in uses a one-time emailed link, not a password.
• Name. Optional, collected at checkout if you provide it, used only to greet you by name in the account page and emails.
• Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep a record of the payment ID, amount, and date to maintain your subscription.
• Enquiry form submissions. Email, the reason for your enquiry, and anything else you write in the message field, kept so we can respond.
• Session cookie. A signed, httpOnly cookie that identifies your account after you sign in. It carries no readable personal data and can't be forged without our server's private key.

What we don't do

We don't run advertising trackers or sell any data to third parties. We don't publish the names of individual real-estate agents or brokers whose listings we reference in a report, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Who we share data with

Two processors: Stripe, for payment; Resend, for sending email. Both act only on our instructions and don't use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and its data deleted, ask via the contact form and we'll action it, subject to what we're required to keep for accounting or legal purposes.
